Today I drove Mel to Burton Hospital, where she had a CT scan.
The purpose of this scan was to scan Mel’s chest. This is to see whether or not the cancer has spread to her chest and lungs.
There is still a chance that this might not be cancer. But Nurse Kelly did say they will treat it as though Mel does have cancer, instead of waiting for results. This way, if it is cancer, we will see what options we have sooner than later.
